About the Auxiliary

The PECMH Auxiliary consists of dedicated people who promote healthcare in our local area by providing, through fundraising, new equipment for the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital. Auxiliary members and volunteers help both inside the hospital and outside in the community.

The first meeting of the PECMH Women’s Auxiliary was held in Picton on October 27, 1934, the result of an amalgamation of a number of County Women’s Institutes, which had supported the hospital from its beginning in 1918. Today, the PECMH Auxiliary is open to both men and women and has become a significant part of our health care community.

Our Mission

The Auxiliary shall support and assist Quinte Health Care Prince Edward Memorial Hospital, its patients, staff and the local community in meeting their healthcare needs through service and fund raising.

• your name(s) and address in order for us to send you a receipt and advise the family of your memorial, if applicable
• the name of the person you are donating in memory of, if applicable

A Charitable Donation Receipt will be issued for donations of $25.00 and over.
