The PECMH Auxiliary supports initiatives that contribute to the healthcare of our community
FUNDING REQUEST GIVING GUIDELINES
There are many valuable causes across Prince Edward County, and they all contribute to our vibrant community in different ways. The Auxiliary partners with organizations that share our mission to support and assist Quinte Health Care, Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, its patients, staff, and the local community in meeting their healthcare needs.
Apply for funding so that we can optimize healthcare together. In order to qualify for funding from Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital - The Auxiliary, an organization must fall within our giving guidelines.
When possible, we fund:
- Initiatives that contribute directly to the health and wellbeing of Prince Edward County community
- Organizations that are not-for-profit and/or registered charities
- Products or services that directly improve the healthcare of patients and community members
- Measurable social outcomes that drive healthcare impact to the end-user and the community
We typically do not fund:
- Individuals
- Political organizations
- Endowment or memorial campaigns
- Advertising or promotional campaigns
- Travel-related costs
To be eligible, the organization must reside in Prince Edward County.

As a recipient of Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital - Auxiliary (The Auxiliary) funding, and as a duly authorized representative of this organization, I certify that this organization:
● Will use funds provided by The Auxiliary specifically toward the approved funding request and not to substitute without written consent.
● Is a charitable not-for-profit organization or a community service provider within Prince Edward County.
● Practices non-discrimination (if an agency has a religious affiliation, it will not refuse service to any member of the community).
● Will allocate Auxiliary funding on agreed upon products/services, maintain invoices and receipts, and provide them to The Auxiliary upon request.
